Appointments to Boards and Committees
Shortly after being elected, each new Village of Merrickville-Wolford Council forms a series of volunteer advisory committees and boards to support Council’s effective governance of the municipality. Some committees and boards are regulated by Provincial statute and others are not but all board and committee members must comply with the Village’s Procedure By-law and other related policies and legislation.
Applications can be submitted throughout the term of Council. Appointments are made at the beginning of a new term of Council, or throughout the term when there are vacancies.
At this time, there is no open call for volunteers. Active recruitment calls for volunteers will be posted on this page when there are vacancies on committees and boards.
