Merrickville Public Beach
This small, beautiful beach is located on the Rideau River in Merrickville, Ontario. From the sandy beach, the water gradually gets deeper to the jump raft, which makes this spot great for both small and bigger kids.
The area around the beach has many shaded, grassy areas. There are picnic tables and a picnic shelter, perfect for relaxing or for picnics. A small playground with swings is also avaliable.
This is a great place to spend a hot summers day with the family!

Paddle the Rideau Canal
The Rideau Canal is a popular paddling destination. Bring your canoe or kayak and launch your adventure from the public beach. Here you can paddle through the Rideau Migratory Bird Sanctuary, a protected wetland or discover the many locks along the canal.

Fishing
Bring your rod and drop a line. The Rideau River offers a wide variety of fish from perch to bass to pike.

Get physical on the tennis court! Eastons Corners is home to two public tennis courts and are available on a first come, first serve basis. The tennis courts are lit in the evening.
