An entrance permit is required to establish or change an entranceway onto a property off a public road.
An entrance permit must also be in place prior to the issuance of a building permit.
Final inspection of the entrance permit must be completed before occupancy is permitted in new construction projects.
A civic address must also be obtained from the Municipality when an entrance is being created or changed, whether or not there is a structure on the property.

County Roads
To establish an entranceway off of a County Road, an Entrance Permit is required from the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville and submitted to the Public Works Division – Roads Department @ 25 Central Avenue, Suite 100, Brockville K6V 4N6 or by calling 613-342-3840
