We are pleased to announce that the Village of Merrickville-Wolford was successful in their application for an Ontario Trillium Foundation Capital Grant of $197,900. The funds will be used to upgrade our Community Centre, which for 125 years has been a key gathering place for the citizens of Merrickville-Wolford. The grant will allow the addition of clearly defined formal entrances that are AODA compliant, new siding, porticos and a veranda that will honour our heritage and will promote inclusivity and restore pride in the community. It is expected that accessible interior and exterior doorways will be installed by year end, with the major exterior work occurring in 2025.
