Update as of Fall 2024 - The Blockhouse Museum is now closed for the 2024 season and will re-open in summer 2025. Youth between the ages of 17 and 30 who are interested in working at the Blockhouse Museum during the summer season are advised to apply for a job by mid-April of 2025.
Whether you are local or from afar, don’t forget to stop by and visit the Blockhouse Museum while in Merrickville this summer! We are open daily, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, until 25 August.
The museum brings together various stories and objects of the Merrickville-Wolford area. Do come by and see our Watchorn Mill exhibit. After, you can even go to visit the ruins of the mill and stand at a core site of Merrickville’s industrial history.
