Open Air Fires
An Open Air Fire Permit is required before setting any open fire, including brush fires, burn barrels, campfires, outdoor fireplaces and agricultural windrows/wood piles.
An Open Air Fire Permit must be applied for annually online or from the Municipal Office.
A brush fire or burn barrel is not permitted in rural residential areas, hamlets, and areas of concentrated development, such as Eastons Corners, Jasper, Merrickville Ward.
