As with so many of Norm Foster’s plays, this is a hilarious comedy that is also touching and true to life. Andy and Val are looking for a relationship, and when Andy places a personals ad in the newspaper (The personal ads? Why not…they’re anonymous), Val responds but only if she can make it a double date. Four middle aged singles meet in a bar, and experience the awkward, embarrassing and hilarious moments of miscommunication and romance that Norm Foster is justly known for.
