The Merrickville Fire Department conducted a boot drive to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy on the weekend of September 23, 2023.

A ring was found in one of the boots.  If you are missing a ring, please contact our office at 613-269-4791 ext. 233 and provide a detailed description.  

Final Tax Notices were sent at the beginning of July.  Please note that the final instalment is due on Friday September 29, 2023.

The Utility Notices were sent on September 8th and are also due on Friday September 29, 2023.

Payments can be made in person at the Village office, located at 317 Brock St. West, Merrickville, by cash, cheque or debit. The office is open Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. 
You can also make payments through your bank, either in person or online.

Late penalties will be applied to outstanding balances on the first of October.

October Hydrant Flushing

Watermain / Hydrant Flushing will take place from October 2-31, 2023 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

As a result of the flushing, water may be slightly discoloured or brown/reddish water. The water is entirely safe, however may not be aesthetically pleasing. To resolve this issue, run your taps for a short time until the colour is no longer present.

Weekly sampling is being conducted to ensure safe water.
