Outdoor rink is closed until further notice due to the mild temperatures.

Snow removal within the Village of Merrickville will continue for the next week.

We would ask for co-operation with removing vehicles and items away from the

curb as crews work through the village.

Good news!!  Outdoor rink will be ready tomorrow, crews are finishing up tonight!

Keep in mind the rink is unsupervised and a schedule is attached to accommodate

all users!

The Public Works Department is working hard to prepare the outdoor rink and these cold temperatures are

definitely helping.  We ask the public to please stay off the rink and fingers crossed, it should be ready by

the weekend.  We thank you for your co-operation. 

SNOW REMOVAL CONTINUES JANUARY 18TH & JANUARY 19 2024

Please be advised the snow removal will continue in the Village of Merrickville on January 18 & 19th 2024. 

The focus will be Main Street East and St Lawrence Street.  We ask that you please make sure all

vehicles and items are away from the edge of the roadway so we can efficiently utilize snow removal

equipment.  We thank you for your co-operation.
